INN AT MAZAMA in Methow Valley
CONC has been going to the Inn at Mazama for many years. It is conveniently located right on the Methow Valley ski trails, and just a few yards from the Mazama Store. This puts it at the western edge of the Methow Valley trails, about 20 miles northwest of Winthrop on Highway 20.
This is the perfect setting for a club event. The Inn is a combination of a lodge and two adjacent clusters of guest rooms. Besides 10 guest rooms, the lodge consists of a large dining room adjacent to a huge, Russian fireplace and warming room where we gather to socialize and drink coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine or beer in the evenings before sitting down for a group meal. There are 8 rooms (Pine, Pine +, Cedar, and Cedar +) accessed by a covered boardwalk in two clusters just beyond the hot tub.
The town of Mazama is very small, consisting of the amazing Mazama Store, a clothing store, and a ski
school, besides a few other lodgings. But it has everything you need to enjoy over 200 km of groomed XC ski trails!
The trails are arranged in roughly five groups: Sun Mountain, Rendezvous, Winthrop, Big Valley and Mazama & Upper Valley trails. We typically ski out the door of the Inn for Upper Valley trails and those around Mazama. Often we’ll drive down towards Sun Mountain or Rendezvous for a day. Meals this year will consist of 5 dinners (Sunday-Thursday), and 5 breakfasts (Monday-Friday), which will accommodate the expected Sunday arrival and Friday departure. Lunches will not be offered, as most people have purchased snacks, sandwiches, and soup at the Mazama Store next door. The meal plan cost will be $475, which includes tax and gratuity. This year, Inn at Mazama is working with a new cook, Shannon. Also, they are developing themes to address some of the shortcomings of last season. They will also include gluten free and vegan options/variants with each meal.

The Inn at Mazama will send you an invoice, which you will pay directly to the Inn by credit card. The registration period begins with the receipt of this email, and will close at midnight on Friday Dec. 22.
