Paulina Loop Ski- We will ski up Ponderosa Rim (700' gain), then down the other side of the road on Paulina View; 7 miles round trip. 1 to 2" snow is predicted Thursday on top of the current hardpack. Downhill on Paulina View will be fast; good downhill skills are required!
What to Bring:
Appropriate ski equipment: 65-100 mm width skis. Kicker skins are always good to have, but probably not necessary.
Clothing to match the predicted conditions; high of 28 degrees with snow. Proper winter clothing for insulation and protection from wind, rain, and snow. Chemical hand warmers are not a bad idea.
Water, snack/lunch. We probably will not go to the lodge.

Meeting time/place: There is a Park 'n Ride at Hwy 97 and Newberry Road. We will arrange carpooling from there at 9:00, then go up to 10 Mile SnoPark.
