Meeting place/time: Meet at the parking lot behind (south) of PetSmart off Robal Lane at 9:00. We will arrange carpooling there.
Distance/hours: Drive an hour to Sisters and continue up Hwy 242 to the blockade. Ski 12 miles or about 5 hours, depending on snow conditions and how much trail breaking will be required.
Brief Trail Description: We ski 6 miles up Hwy 242 to the Dee Wright Observatory, then return on our tracks for a total of 12 miles. The purpose of this ski is to scout out the John Craig ski tour, and remove any trees in the way.
What to bring:

Water, lunch.
Bring a Katana Boy and/or a shovel if you have one.
Ski Equipment: Skis should be designed for backcountry use.
