Ski Trail Maintenance - Pete’s Way and Todd Ridge

We plan to take advantage of the good snow pack depth on the Dutchman trail system to do some improvements to the assurance markers on the Pete’s Way and Todd Ridge trails. The plan will be to ski up  Pete’s Way  and then return via Todd Ridge and the Todd Lake trail. Pete’s Way needs just a few marker updates, so most of the work is expected to be on the Todd Ridge trail.  

The NOAA forecast for this week shows significant snowfall Sunday thorugh Tuesday and improving weather on  Wednesday.  There will likely be trail breaking, and Todd Ridge is an advanced intermediate ski. 

• Plan -  meet at the Parks and Rec parking lot near the Kayak roundabout off Columbia at 9:00 AM. We’ll be skiing from the Nordic Center at Mt Bachelor; If you plan to meet us there, please let me know. 
• • Bring a hard hat or let me know if you need one. 
    Bring a pack that has extra room to help carry tools and markers. Skis should be backcountry type. 
  • Expect to return to town between 3 and 4 PM
