Snowshoe Trail Maintenance

Tuesday November 19th

8:30 to 3:00

With plenty of snow on the ground and in the forecast, we will head back to Swampy on Tuesday November 19th. Goals will be to clear any blowdown and reassurance marker maintenance on the far extent of the Porcupine loop. Depending on numbers, we may split after the loop to cover both cross-ties.

I'm sure you will want snowshoes this week!

Meet-up spot is moving to: Bend Parks & Recreation District Office Lot at 799 SW Columbia St

- (NOAA Forecast) . A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly after 10am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29
Meet at Bend Parks & Recreation District Office Lot at 799 SW Columbia St (where the kayaks are in the roundabout) at 8:30 AM

NOTE 8:30 Time & Parks & Recreation

We will park in the the parking spots closest to the river
Group up and drive to Swampy Sno-park.
SNOWSHOES, Long-sleeve shirts, glasses, gloves and hard hats I will have a couple of extra hard hats
Crosscut and katanaboy if you have one. We will select what we need when we divide up. I will have a pole saw.
Expect to return to town by 3PM
