Happy New Year and hope all were able to enjoy the snow over the holidays! Dennis DeLapp reported this week that the Meissner Short & Long Loops were in good condition, but otherwise haven't heard about any problems on the other snowshoe trails. So, given the excellent snow depth, we will head to Dutchman as it will be an opportunity to do some pole work for marker visibility and add or raise any markers.
We will try to park at Dutchman to head out on the Dutchman Snowshoe Trail and then go counter-clockwise on the Todd Lake Loop. Distance for this option will be 5 1/2 miles. If we are unable to find parking, we will park at Bachelor and proceed across the Common Corridor to shoe the Todd Lake Loop; a shorter 3 3/4 miles.
In the meantime, any reports on conditions of the trails will be very helpful.
